Donate New Toys

Donate New Toys

Monday 9th December

Many thanks to everyone who has donated new toys. As we will not be in the office from Monday 16th December, we would request that toys be dropped into the Hamper boxes located at Haney Place and Valley Fair Malls.

Cash donations after 16th December can be taken in to The News or Otter Co-Op; cheques can also be delivered to these 2 businesses or mailed to us as at PO Box 403, Maple Ridge, V2X 8K9. Donations are also accepted through PayPal. Tax receipts will be issued in January.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas.

Community Services Silent Auction and Family Day – The ACT

Saturday 23rd November – 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

A family event with entertainment, face painting, balloon artist and craft tables for children, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to help struggling families, isolated senors and the Christmas Hamper in your neighbourhood. Bring a new unwrapped gift for a child, teen, adult or senior and then enjoy the fun at the venue (see poster at the end of this page).

Haney Place Mall and Valley Fair Mall – Friday 29th November – Tuesday 24th December

Look for the Christmas Hamper boxes located inside the malls

Firefighers for Families – Saturday 14th December

Shopping centres around Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows

West Coast Express Santa Train – Saturday 7th and 14th December

 Port Haney departing 10.19 a.m

Maple Meadows  departing 10.25 a.m.

Pitt Meadows departing 10.29 a.m

The return train departs Vancouver at 4 p.m. on both Saturdays.

Once in Vancouver, you can enjoy a day of holiday sights and sounds before returning home.

What makes the Santa Trains special is that West Coast Express give you a free WCE ticket when you bring along a new, unwrapped toy donation (worth about the same as a WCE pass) for your community Christmas Hamper. It’s a great way to give to those in need in your community, and have a fun-filled day at the same time.

A great day out for the entire family; invite all of your friends, and help make Christmas brighter for kids in your community.
